You can buy an AUG here. They did make semi versions. I've handled them and the STG556 and the STG556 feels just as solid. I've seen nothing but good reviews of them so far from people that actually own them. ::shrug::

Have you considered an STG 556 instead? I haven't had an opportunity to shoot either of them, but I have held a couple of both and the STG 556 is pretty badass. I also like the forward assist that isn't offered on an AUG.

I am used to it, and I don't like it. I don't prefer the trigger to other guns of similar quality. There are lots of pictures of exploded glocks on google image. I'd still own one, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
