I never fully overheated, I dont drive far since the car is still kind of incomplete. I noticed that the needle just goes up slowly after a nice drive around, so I buy pizza :icon_bigg. I read that forum posting and saw that a minimum of 2500 to 3k cfm is needed. Im going to test my oil and...
how can I be any clearer, I did the oil pan, front and rear main seals, 2JZ water pump and themostat nothing on the head (bottom end). I did the work myself along with the clutch and fan my piping wont allow the stock clutch fan. The only signs I have that are pretty vague which are milky...
Im breaking in the motor I never push a motor I never seen run then things go pop faster. I only put about 1k on the motor so far she was running in November when it was still freezing. I replaced and resealed the bottom end but not the head up, didnt have much time in the shop. I just dont want...

Hey guys, I was driving hard one weekend and popped my OEM radiator which in turn killed my head gasket :nono:. Since the heads coming off anyways how hard was the job and are there any machinery places that do PnP jobs in the brooklyn area near bay ridge? Its a 1JZ planning on the Ypipe and...

I had that problem check your plugs mine exploded I barely got home and they were a week old and check the throttle body there might be a slight to insignificant leak that electricity might follow
Im waiting to get a garage so I can do it without worrying aboutalternate side parking or if im missing a tool most common ones i see are 10,12,14,17,19 I forgot what the head bolts are
Im so mad only been 3 weeks I been driving my supra and I get this. I went to go change my oil and to my teary surprise milky residue also known here as BHG. I was leading towards this when my car would overheat randomly thank god its not a full blown gasket more like a "I'm going soon". Nice...
Well i was afraid the battery might overcharge and pop I bolted the old 7M and the new wire together and tapped it from there to the alternator works fine charging at like 17v lol
so on the 1JZ harness does it poke out at the front middle or rear of the intake manifold I want to find the other end first so when i pull it through the new wire will follow and I just have to join it to the original alternator wire, so I need to find giant crimpers
Checked all fuses continuity the whole 9 nothing all these tests and nothing then snowball to the face made me realize the alternator stud is straight to the battery grounded to the casing hit it with the test light nothing then I realized I only have the cable to the starter and grounds on...
Hey guys I got a serious problem changed my alternator and battery drove down to my cousins thinking that would fix my charging problem. When I went to go start the car I did nothing but stare back at me with dim lights. still have a battery light on, car isnt charging and I put in brand new...
Mine bounces but it stays at 12 mostly like it just wiggles above or below I heard something about a MR-2 alternator would bolt up and its stronger but I dont think my old 7MGE one will fit
