A few months before i purchased my MK3, i got a good deal on some brand new parts that my friend had, (he blew his HG and turbo, called it quits). Now, take a look at these pix and tell me if this is how you got your turbo from Suprastore.com. does this one look good and upgraded? Suprastore...
hmmm... i think i may have this problem. i replaced the valve cover gaskets and replaced the screws with hex bolts. now, when idrive, i get smoke and if i look under the car at my DDP, there is oil coming out. would the turbo still be able to hold boost if it was letting oil out the exhaust?
nice work Perk! how long you been welding for? that cage is nice, as is the IC piping. did your seats come with MK3 Supra specific sliders/brackets or did you make your own? outside looks great. only thing im not liking is the rear wheels dont fill up the wheel well, they need to be wider...
ok, so i removed the stock boost gauge control box. now i want to remove the cruise control, both because i dont use it and to clean up the engine bay.
first pic shows the vaccum line from the back of the manifold. i tee'd off this line for my aftermarket boost gauge with the white tee...
my stock rotors on my MK3 feel, and i am pretty sure are, warped. i guess i could try using a torque wrench to put on the lug nuts.... what is the torque specs on lug nuts?
its really just a matter of taking the time to do it, most people just want a quick cleaning fix. but i think Aye Mate is right on the money. Simple Green works magic.
glad to hear that.
this is what i was thinking. dont know why the other guys dont seem to like the look of these. i mean, you could always paint or powdercoat them a different color. they look just as good as any rim out there.
