He's probably out 24/7 enjoying the power out of the setup :) hehe... I think it would be awesome having a TwinTurbo 7M... and with turbo's the size of his.. amazing
I think you may have a problem with your Valve Stem Seals... a guy with a 1jz at a last cruise had them bsut on him, and it would blow heaps of white smoke while idling.. but once cruising off would go away... if it's that, not a big big issue, just get it fixed :).
If he's "SMART" of which smart is the keyword, he would feather it around 4-5000rpm... you dont need foot flat to be doing a burnotu, its not like its a 1.6litre 4cylinder... my Supra breaks traction easily at 2500-3000rpm without even being on boost so I dont know what 7000rpm would be doing...
How you do it is just go into paint or whatever (preferrably Photoshop) and make a IMAGE SIZE which is the two screens added together.
so if both are 1024x768 resolution then your screen for your custom wallpapers will be 2048x768. THen you go and get two wallpapers to that resolution and put...
Mitsubish GTO Twin-Turbo ftw? hehehe...
This one sold in UK for 7000 pounds, which is probably 11-12k? Don't know how many there are for you guys in LHD but i'm sure there would be some.
I'm more after one like this
which is the Series 1 GTO TwinTurbo's to come out.
If...
I officially say M3 :) who say's anything I say is official but meh..
in all seriousness depending what the insurance is like, general cost of parts for servicing etc... i'd go M3 definitely with some nice rims and lowered on the rear end.
My 2nd car I wish to have is a Mitsubish 3000GT /...
I've got a JDM 88 GT Limited but it's got Fuel Cut Defender on it, so I've never hit it either way, and never run anywhere near 14psi / 1bar either. Never knew ECU was different with the JDM MKIII (now I know it isn't, which is what I thought lol), mine's full import digital dash leather...
That's very sad to hear Malloynx, whatever you do i'm sure you would feel is the right thing, can't believe it happened to you too at juts 70mph.. not even big speed to start with to get engine problems.... may your supra rest in peace.
My mate that visits these Commodore forums showed me these two articles, I think they are great to really helping and explaining a lot about turbo's, a very nice read to fully understanding how turbo's work to fine detail.
Just thought some of the SM members might find these an interesting...
I'm no Dr in physics or anything did comp science at uni, never touched physics, but by pure judgement, wider tyres should give for a higher limit of tractive force before it breaks traction... similarly if you put say 165or 185 width tyres on a supra compared to the stock 225s you'll see you...
First off big props to you buddy, that's something I want to do one day..., awesome!
The whole reason why i thought of doing it is becuase since i got my JDM engine, i've found myself with a spare CT26, only problem is my current one is highflowed and has a unknown at present trim. I would...
I really believe given similar weight,or probably not even... the MKIII should outhandle, yes the MKII is lighter probably might 'feel' more agile, but the whole point of a wider bodied car, is a lower center of gravity, and when turning corners that is what helps a lot, a long with wider...
