I've seen a post about removing the rubber gasket seal that runs along the back of the engine compartment where it meets with the hood. Should help to exhaust hot air out the back of the hood.
Sounds like from your replies that the catbacks and downpipes use the same size flanges when it comes to the connection at the cat converter. Allowing you to keep your oem cat convertor.
Ok I am a little confused about the way a new catback would mate up to the existing OEM Catylitc converter. For example... Lets say I buy a Tanabe 3" catback. How does the Tanabee 3" connect to the oem 2.5" Cat converter?
I have a similar question concerning downpipes. Pasted below is the...
Just out of curiosity. What is your faceplate number on the front of the radio. If it is different it could help others find a radio that fits as well.
Looks good!!!
I still say the new stocker looks better than the old oem radio and sounds better too. Stock is the way to go IMO. Check out ebay for bezels. I have seen two bezels recently. I did a search using "supra radio" and two new ones came up today but they were both hacked. Just be...
When you say the ac turns on and off due you mean the blower fan inside the car stops or the compressor cycles on and off?
If the system pressures are to low the system turns off. If the pressures are to high the system turns off. Did your ac guy put the manifold gauges on the ac system when...
Whoa everyone breath. Let me clear things up before some of you go fist to cuffs.
I added a manual switch to the condenser fan circuit because my high pressure switch on the AC does not work. When I went to the ac shop the labor alone for reclaiming, vacuum, replacing the switch and...
+1 on never use that monkey wrench. The nuts were set back anyways and you cant get a good hold of them with a wrench.
You guys might be right about that 15/16 because the 24mm worked but it felt a tad bit loose.
Well I just did my LSD change with ford non synthetic 80w 90w and the ford additive xl3. I bought it at the Ford steelership. Every thing sounds fine for the past two days. By the way make sure you have a 24mm 6pt or a 15/16 socket. Those bolts were on tight.
I could pick up two quarts of the...
The tsrm calls them condenser fans 1 & 2. Seems backwards seeing how the condenser fan is in front of the Radiator (Front of car) not behind. On a side note only the Automatic Transmission cars have the 3rd fan in the front. You would think all the cars would have the condenser fan in the...
My craftsman socket set only goes as high as 19mm. Does anybody know the socket size for the bolts to change the LSD fluid? Looked in the tsrm but only shows the nut number but not the size.
Thanks
Looks like they added a additional ground to your coil pack. The white wire is not grounded correctly. As others have stated above. The coil pack should be grounded to the intake. Look to the drivers side of the coil pack and you should see a stud or bolt with threads. See photos.
First...
When I went to ford the parts guy told me that the XY*80W90*QL was the non-synthetic blend. The ford XY*75W140*QL is the synthetic product.
The back of the bottle on the XY 80W90 QL reads " add ford friction modifer for LSD"
If you do a google search on XY 75w140 QL you will find that...
