Autozone- New knock sensor- $186.00
Junkyard - free
Very easy to swap out, youll need a large socket.
Says that knock sensors are suppsed to have a grease of some kind on the threads when new. I installed mine without the grease and it works fine.
I was reading my haynes manual about installing new pistons and it said I needed to chamfer the block. What the hell is chamfer and how do I do it? Is there a tool to make it easier?
Dont use Lucas oil stabilizer, its not a good choice since it foams up especially with our gear driven oil pumps.

Just lift the engine and check the rod bearings. easy fix just takes some time, shouldnt cost you too much either. new...
One on craigslist is going for $25. not sure if its original though. If you have the one with the embroidered supra logo it would be worth a bit more im thinking.
I can tell you a thermostat works by the spring expanding when it gets hot no clue wtf a jiggle valve does though...jiggles? Also on that other gasket you can spread some silicone on to seal it and keep it from leaking.
I think theres a litlle clip on the back of the bracket you pry with a screw driver to get the reservoir off. I dont think its neccesary to drain the reservoir for a flush.
