Happy bday rufus.
It was go time last night for me. I was in there till 4 in the morning. I thought I was in trouble when devon came looking for me. I made a lot of progress. Question will I be able to get power to the radio with out a engine harness and ecu? Power would come in from the dash...
Your welcome there Rufus. Anything to keep some of these old pos on the road.
Yeah, thanks to taco. Where ever he may be. This thread really did help me a lot. After my 1jz fiasco I didn't want to work on my sups anymore. Then David kinda gave me a jump start. Now I'm in the garage just about...
I would check with the dealership, the one I told you about. I had to buy some of those molded hoses once they were $15 or so a piece. They are grey when new.
Vacuum lines I would get off.of eBay.
Oil in turbo? What does your ic pipe look like the one that goes from the turbo to the ic.
I think I have one or two of the charcoal canisters laying around. Should of given me a call. What did you do about.the cracked hose going to the bypass valve?
Yeah its on top of the cylinder. Take the one10mm bolt out and the cylinder should slide out. Twist it around and look on top and it should look something like this ( P1915 ). The locksmith I used wanted the actual cylinder and not just the number. They charge $20 to make a key off the code.
I can't say for sure. Is that the passengers side cylinder? I would just take them the cylinder. That way they can test it out.

If I remember correctly I could see the number from underneath.
Yep....that's what I'm waiting for. I ordered my gaskets yesterday. I wanted to take care of everything at once. To minimize the risk of breaking or scratching the interior.
