Where is everybody mounting their Ballasts at? If you have pics that would help. Just to put it out there I don't need or want to hear smart ass answers so if that's you just keep trolling.

I thought about making my own FG or CF hood for the car but since its just my dd I'd rather save the time and money and go with just the scoop. But like I said I'm open to pretty much anything. The Celica all track scoop looks pretty good on the Supra. How do good do y'all think a 99-04 gt scoop...
Anybody have any pics of MKIIIs with hood scoops on them? I was debating installing one and making it functional for cooling purposes. I used a 99-04 Mustang GT scoop on my old 300ZX years ago and was thinking about using another one on the Supra. But I am open to all ideas.

So doing say a lex/550 mod, and jumping to 18psi (I know you need more mods to go to 18psi just using some random numbers) the FCD wouldn't be needed? Would the AFM and ECU compensate for the changes? I was planning on doing the mod and going to 10psi or if I can up to 14psi. I do have a full 3"...
At what point though is an FCD needed? I Understand going for max power (I'm doing it with a Honda CRV, aiming for at least 600s or higher on a built motor and GT42R) fuel cut is gonna be a problem. But for your average supra that just does say a Lex/550 mod and jumps to 10 or 12 psi does that...
I would be really leery of using one and would probably just go the standalone route. I have used a few piggybacks over my years of racing and showing and a couple of standalones recently on other cars I've helped friends build. I'd have to say the answer to the "why did they do this" in...
Try jdmenginescorp.com I wanna say I saw some cheaper ones there. I believe they do sponsorships as well just don't know the particulars about it.

I have a buddy that used Megasquirt on his Camaro with good results and I've been looking at using it instead of a piggy back on my Honda build. Have an emanage ultimate on it now. It seems fairly easy and straight forward if you want to check into it. Sorry to hear about the sickness. Thanks...
It makes sense. I was just intrigued about the whole adjustability aspect that they claim. I have no interest in installing a FCD as I prefer safety and reliability as well as the right way to a bandaid.

According to SOGI 400rwhp. Second to last paragraph.

"As far as transmission choices, you can reuse whatever trans your NA had. The W58 (NA 5 speed) will bolt up to the 7MGTE w/no problems. The NA auto trans is basically the same as the turbo...
I know everybody says to stay away from bypassing the Fuel cut as it there for protection. That's not my question, my question has anybody seen/tried this thing. Apparently its adjustable to modify the signal so that if you increase boost to say 18psi and OEM FC is at 12, this modifies the...
Sorry for necro-posting but any updates. I'd like to go for a 1.2 inch drop or so and better handling for spirited street driving and occasional road course.

I had an off duty cop walk up behind me and place his hand on mine one time. Got his fingers, bones in the back of his hand and wrist broken almost instantly. NEVER identified himself until screaming like a bitch either. His whole reason was he said I was printing a little, I was not printing...
