    Wouldn't any adjustment the HAC could make be in the wrong direction for performance? (ie: The higher in altitude the thinner the air the less fuel/timing)

    I agree with the guys the head while running/boosting can and does move around quite a bit! The coolant test that checks for hydrocarbons/gases in the cooling system would be a good early warning system.

    If the LSD is locked up try doing a full lock slow turn in a car park you'll hear the inside tire skipping. Another thing to look at is the tire wear rating on the sidewall they may have changed to a softer rubber since the last set.

    Yep same same! Not a lot of differences between the 2 motors excluding the oil squirters bypass oil cooler and block drilled for the oil return/supply for the turbo CPS in place of the NA Distributor and I think 1 cam!

    On a fresh motor on the dyno I had used the NA T off the cam covers into 1/2" hose then into my catch can and back into the Turbo inlet. As soon as the motor was working hard the PCV couldn't flow enough and was blowing the DipStick out and pukking oil onto the wastegate/exhaust. Luckily...

    A guy I worked for way back had a Kremer 930t Porsche and used to do mid week track days with his rich mates he'd fit a new set of 355/35 Pirelli P7's in the morning and would kill them that day so I wouldn't go by track days as an indicator to wear ;)!
