Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1 through5- ***14 YEARS....Approaching the finish line!!!***

Thanks, Super51. I don't really yet think of it as a car. More like large groups of parts for 4 stages of building.

Complete head. Relapped one intake and 2 exhaust valves, and then did the shim-shim twostep. I swear, adjusting valve clearance takes at least two tries per cam, no matter how carefully i measure.

Valves installed. Leak testing the valves, to see if the lapping was adequate. Oops. So far, I have to re-lap intake valve #1 on cylinder 4. Yes, it's koolaid. shut up. ;)

The head? Not much. Maybe 3hrs porting/ polishing. Just spent about 2hrs cleaning the valves, rough-lapping them, then fine-lapping them into the seats. I'm about to clean the head and begin assembly.

LOL. I think I'm getting too OCD about polishing this stupid head... The ports aren't perfect all the way throughout, but I realize that IF I really wanted perfection, I'd have to polish the intake manifold and runners as well, and frankly, I don't have that kind of motivation.

ma-70 carbon fiber twill weave & plain weave parts.

Aha. I just googled a few pics, and realized that the original MkI Supra had one of these. As for the particulars on the rear wing, I pretty much agree with Absolute Speed: 3rd brake light- either way is fine Design- One piece. It shouldn't extend out to the sides as far as a whale...

Help!!!!! I cant figure this overfuelling issue.

Check the resistance across the pins on each injector. Shouldnt require any disassembly.

Cheaper Alternative to Engine mounts 89+

Sounds like the crap that they're tapping and drilling are some 12x1.5 lug nuts and making them into 12x1.75 nuts, so that they can be used to reach down thru the mount points on the aluminum mount plate and the lower plate, to fully engage the threading on the mount itself. Looks like your pic...

    86 MK3 7m-gte Track star prep

No. You need something to control injectors, spark...everything. Certainly you can crank it to check compression, though.
