Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1 through5- ***14 YEARS....Approaching the finish line!!!***

So I've been slowly finishing the engine tranny updates for the car, but not in a big hurry, because I realize there are quite a number of steps before I can put it in the car, if I want to do it semi-right: Degrease and touch up the engine bay Do some -AN crap to the fuel feed line at the...

    Issues please help!

Is your bov recirculated back into the intake?

    intercooler

Yes, this surprised me. I rolled my car out of the garage to remove my dp and exhaust, as well as the intake pipe, and entire IC system/ piping to sell off. The I realized that it would be almost impossible for me to push the car back uphill into the garage. So for giggles, I started it, and...

    2013 Southeast Celica/Supra Meet

Not a single supra at the supra meet-LMAO! That would be the quintessential MkIII "Supra" meet. Every single guy would show up in a truck or an accord, explaining how there Supra is 'almost' ready to drive. That's the MkIII crowd, though. Unlike the MkIV guys, we have to deal with modifications...

OldCrappySupra - Wheels for my old bones

Looking great, man. I might need to look into that ceramic paint. I'd like to coat my turbine housing and manifold, and save the wrap for the downpipe.

    Project Super Slow

That part is a common failure point. You can remove the charcoal cannister, but once you cap off the lines i think you need to change out the fuel cap to a venting type.

Electrical question - coolant warning switch

Sorry, didn't mean to 'make' you go do that, but glad you did. Yeah, that's the switch i'm looking at, the one with the '73'' on it.

    Supra MK3 Project

The springs are Intrax. In my opinion they sit too low, and apparently the previous owner thought so too. Good luck with car!

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1 through5- ***14 YEARS....Approaching the finish line!!!***

Like i said, meteor grey up to and including the moldings, then bright silver up top. I've got awhile till i have to decide, though.

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

    Welcome to the AW11 club. Mine's a black '86 5-spd.

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1 through5- ***14 YEARS....Approaching the finish line!!!***

Well, it'll never be solid silver. At least half the car will be original meteor grey, or something close to it, like the current Lexus color. I'm just trying to decide if i want two-tone.

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1 through5- ***14 YEARS....Approaching the finish line!!!***

Lets hope. Yes, stock paint, because im pretty sure im respraying it stock color, or perhaps stock color lower half, with a lighter silver above the molding line in a two-tone scheme.

    more cooling needed.

Undertray and stock fan is the way to go, as mentioned. 160 tstat wont help at all. Also, make sure that your rear hood seal is intact.

Really? They're m5?? I didn't know that Toyota used any m5. Sorry for spreading mis-information.

Electrical question - coolant warning switch

Ironically, i just picked up an actual 1988 EWD manual from Ebay, and am going to start diving into it to find B1. And as you you mentioned, JJ, i am probably going to just test the suspect switch by heating it, as well as checking the wiring color. Thanks guys.
