Prehistory of the Farside ;)!
I've had a couple of his desktop calendars as well and it was a highpoint at the end of each day peeling the next sheet!
Damn I'm such a sad case sometimes!
Another Urban Myth I'd like to see die! ;)
In the old days when I built my Twin Turbo 4V Toyota V8 you couldn't buy a flywheel to suit so I got 2 x Auto Flex plates machined the ring gear off one then welded them together and bolted a Steel Friction surface on for the Clutch.
It worked...
Mik: Yep it's 60mm gauge size!
It has a lot of features but is expensive.
JDub: Thanks! :)

Got thinking about this last night and I think the "issue" with the AVC-R is not so much that it physically can't control more boost but that as it uses it's own...
Yes
A flywheel stores energy.
It may take more load to get it turning if it's heavier so slower acceleration but it doesn't actually "give hp" if you lighten it.
If you go too light in a fat pig Mk3 you can hurt drivability down low.
New question for the AVC-R users!
I've read a few reports that the AVC-R will only work to 1.8 bar/26 psi is this correct and what are your experiences?
