    Help me convince my Dad to buy an MK3 Supra! [PROBLEM] {LONG}

    I would push dad towards an NA, only for fewer systems for you to deal with later. I doubt he's looking for a drift/ drag car. I would say 91/92 NA with moonroof. He's not going to want to wrestle with a targa, and the 91-92's had the nicest interiors IMO.

    Here's the correct ecu pinout for 87-88 turbo. Go to the online TSRM and follow the troubleshooting steps. If you follow the tsrm, you will figure it out. Don't give up like this guy(wierd- he has the same problem you do). :) http://cookeville.craigslist.org/cto/4910616884.html

    Welp, not my cup of tea, but looks like it was well done, and certainly looks the part for drift.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1 through5- ***14 YEARS....Approaching the finish line!!!***

    I emailed Daniel Stern lighting. They make a custom 4-headlight harness for 9005/ 9006 systems, that keeps the low beam on when you add high beams. I asked him specifically about 9005 vs. H9 compatibility. PS!!!- If you haven't already ordered- I have a 10% off coupon for Partshub. I will PM you.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1 through5- ***14 YEARS....Approaching the finish line!!!***

    The very best price that I could find on the lights themselves(both high AND low beams), was a place right here in GA called Parts hub Direct. They all came with the adjuster screws, and H9 bulbs installed. 68136/ 68137 http://www.partshubdirect.com/products?category=90mm%2F120mm They didn't...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1 through5- ***14 YEARS....Approaching the finish line!!!***

    Back to the Supra... Almost time to build some headlights... The motor arms have already been modified, so the real work is going to be with the bracket fabrication, and the wiring harness.

    Accord lip on mK3 supra hmmm.

    I miss the good old days

    Im in the same boat. I graduated from Supraforums about a decade ago, and haven't really been back since. Bought my car in 1997, and i 'hope' to have the restoration completed by this summer, as well as picking up another Supra as a daily. I do agree that Facebook is quietly shrinking the...
