    Wingy: If the Piston to Bore clearance is wrong it will cause it or if the ring end gaps are too big ditto.

    Centrelines for the Valve spacing restricts us to +1mm valves, 2JZ are +1.5mm stock and can go even bigger. You can only flow xxx through xx size valves there's no magic involved.

    1:1 is the most accurate but a lot of operators won't use 4th as wheel speed becomes a safety factor. eg: mine is 140 mph at redline!

    Best setup of this type I've seen was Atomic Fabio's Mk4 over on SF he had a custom cell made that dropped into the spare wheel well for c16.

    Worn rings mainly Worn pistons can rock and unseat the rings this will cause it as well.

    aluminum block?

    Eric: Didn't see it in person as it was 800+ km's from here but I had full dimensions and it would fit a Mk3, I also measured a BMW V12 and while it could be made to fit it would have been tight!
