That is correct, any correction in closed loop will be undone based on feed back from the o2 sensor. Set everything to zero so your starting from scratch. It should be relatively close with 40psi of fuel pressure with no vacuum. Note the air fuel ratio and VF at idle after warmed up.

Did you properly torque the knock sensor? They are sensitive to over tightening as it can deform the internals and cause issues.

Theres two cooling circuit lines that come off the passenger sside of the transmission. The foward one is the out and the rearward one is the return IIRC. Those are the only two lines on the A340E
