Lag is proportional to size of turbo for any engine, If your keeping a stock turbo lag is almost non existent.

Trying to tune car with SAFC II and Zeitronix Wideband, can't get AFR low enough...

The fuel pressure should drop the same as manifold vacuum. Inhg is inches of mercury. That is usually what vacuum is measured in. to convert it to PSI it is pretty close 2:1. 2 INHG is about equal to 1 PSI. You should have approx 18-20INHG of vacuum at idle, that is roughly 9-10PSI of vacuum. MY...

Has anyone seen negative wheel offsets in a mk3 supra and or 12 wide wheels

The offset positions the wheel and tire side to side on the car, how can that change by appearance? If the tire is flush on two wheels of the same width and tire size, the offset has to be the same.

    Cobra Wheels on a Supra???

To all using cobra wheels, Are you using hub centric rings? The MK3 hubs are about a 1/4 inch smaller then the hole in the wheel. Summit lists the R58 cobra wheels as non hub centric with a 60 degree conical lug nut. I bought the conical lug nuts but im unsure whether i trust just the studs to...

Trying to tune car with SAFC II and Zeitronix Wideband, can't get AFR low enough...

That is correct, any correction in closed loop will be undone based on feed back from the o2 sensor. Set everything to zero so your starting from scratch. It should be relatively close with 40psi of fuel pressure with no vacuum. Note the air fuel ratio and VF at idle after warmed up.

Trying to tune car with SAFC II and Zeitronix Wideband, can't get AFR low enough...

In my experience with VF upon initial startup, boosting moderately to heavy, and deceleration the VF signal would drop to roughly 0 volts. In my experience any time the engine was in open loop for the above conditions or in fuel cut operation for decel i saw zero volts. Im stating in my...

    sweet tits................................................another knock sensor thread

Well as far as specs on what a within spec reading should be i figured those top secret documents would be of use. Theres no real way to use the knock sensors with a standalone monitor to do anything actually productive is there? Pretty sure its been tried and found to be not so accurate.

Just looked threw the TSRM, dont see any testing for the knock sensors. Jetjock might have more information on this subject as he has some rare technical documents on the subject.

    IAT sensor and heat soak

    sweet tits................................................another knock sensor thread

Did you properly torque the knock sensor? They are sensitive to over tightening as it can deform the internals and cause issues.

Need some help. Fitting for fuel rail to replace FPD.

I believe its a 14mmx1.5. Ill have to check my fittings. The return and CSI are both the same size and are 12mmx1.5. The -AN number is how many 16'ths of an Inch the hose/fitting is. -6 is 3/8th inch, -8 is 1/2 inch. I wouldn't run below a -6 as i believe thats the size of the stock line. Im...

    Auto tranny question!!

Theres two cooling circuit lines that come off the passenger sside of the transmission. The foward one is the out and the rearward one is the return IIRC. Those are the only two lines on the A340E

    Auto tranny question!!

Theres only one cable from the transmission. One cable is throttle from the pedal, One cable is from cruise control, And one cable is the throttle valve position cable from the transmission.

Effects of Walbo Fuel Pump on Stock and Aftermarket Regulator.

In that link it shows the proper function of the fuel pressure up VSV. The point of the 500cc injectors is to compensate for the unmetered air. Either way you understand your missing a part to complete the puzzle and running the engine with no vacuum line is inproper. The regulator maintains a...
