    Looking at 7MGTE Ignition Alternatives...

Ive herd there good aswell, but cost is a factor also. LSX coils can be had relatively cheap, and are internal ignitor so easy to install.

    LSx coils

Im running a 3000GT Ignitor. ~100 bucks from Advance Auto. Even after trying the diode setup that some people had luck with i had to change to a individual channel ignitor.

    Drag Wheel pics!

Thanks but Cobra wheels are here to stay. Putting Dowards Cobra brake kit on hopefully soon. My cars a driver and skinnys dont make for good fronts in an emergency maneuver or stop. Though it would look incredibly badass. The pics dont really do it justice, the stance is sweet. Though with the...

    Drag Wheel pics!

Heres the comparison pictures with 5.5 inch backspace. 4.5 inch backspace can be seen here in post #165. The Fitment is MUCH better. Though i have taken it slow i dont believe they have rubbed yet with stock body. I plan on doing to modification to the fender lip tomorrow. The whole car...

    Cobra Wheels on a Supra???

I weighed myself on the scale first and it seemed pretty accurate compared to all other places ive ever weighed in. It guess it could vary from difference in tire weight, the difference of 5lbs isnt that large. Tires on those wheels are Kumho Ecsta Supra 225/50's with about half tread left.

    Cobra Wheels on a Supra???

Heres the verdict on weight. Stock wheel with a stock tire: Chrome 17x9 R58 cobra wheel with 245/45/17 tire. Love them on my car though. Still wondering about the hub centric rings though.

    Looking at 7MGTE Ignition Alternatives...

Idle is for the most part very smooth, though i do catch an occasional slight miss. The car actually runs pretty well but still breaks up at times at 18-19 psi. Im running standalone with a Mitsubishi 3000GT 3 channel ignitor, stock coils and 2.25ms Dwell. I dont want to waste time with a DLI...

    fpr/fpd overworked?

The VSV for fuel pressure only is active during hot restart. Its effect that i have found from tweaking my standalone is to increase fuel pressure on hot startup so the engine runs smooth on the very hot, low density fuel in the rail. When the engine it shut off hot, the fuel it the rail...

    The METAL Or SILICON Accordion??

Well i do have my IAT sensor mounted in a 3-4 inch long piece of aluminum 3 inch tube in between the intercooler outlet and the cold pipe with silicon couplers to combat heat soak ;) Shows ambient temp (intercooler outlet) pretty much at all times other then hard boosting.

    Looking at 7MGTE Ignition Alternatives...

Im also looking for an ignition upgrade. Running standalone experiencing breakup at 19psi with iridium NGK plugs and a .020 gap. Was thinking LS1 coils. Igniter built in but finding a place to mount them would be tight. Post your high power ignition systems!

Professsional Product FPR and -6an lines. FP at 40 psi ok??

well assuming a healthy engine it would pull approx 18-20INHG of vacuum, this converts to 9-10PSI vacuum. Pressure should change that amount with and without vacuum. The stock spec for a GTE is 33-40PSI (IIRC) with no vacuum. If your running 440cc injectors and a stock AFM, adjust the fuel...

    Just Oughtta Curiosity....

Its the difference of setting up a top speed mile car to a 1/8 mile racer. AutoX is very short track, usually only use one or two gears. A road course track will use likely all gears and have a few high speed straights.
