Snapped a timing belt
Are you guys resetting the tensioner after 2>300 miles? (A new belt will stretch some and that's what the plug in the front cover is for so you can get a socket on the tensioner bolt)- IJ.

Soup: Nope not needed on a steel MHG. Strip ALL of the Flourine Rubber coating off then remove the rivets clean well in between the layers spray the top and bottom with Copper spray and lay it on the dowel pins to align it all in order!- IJ.
