Don't matter how good a driver you are it's the other people on the raod that aren't good drivers that will get you killed! (happened to me I'd never had an accident in 20 years of driving)
You WON'T blow a HKS Stopper between cylinders.......
Mine has seen a 32 psi overboost and has rattled hard enough to destroy a Ross Piston with no sign at all of blowing the MHG.
For what it's worth I wouldn't hesitate to use one again given the correct block/head prep.
I had this happen many years back and it was a tired motor, only way to get it back up was to pull the trim and push it up by hand while hitting the up button.
I ended up pulling the motor and rebuilding it and it's been fine since.
