Won't affect spool at all.....
Later model GT BB turbo's have 1mm/ 0.040" restrictions built in.
-3 hose should be all the restriction needed for a non BB turbo any more than that you run the risk of touching a shaft under boost as the bearing floats on Oil in the houshing and the shaft...
Big difference fucking around for the camera with a big fat well fed possibly drugged animal in a caged environment and going into the wild and trying it with something that will kill you if you annoy it!

The LSx Motors in Commodores/Monaros run an annular throwout bearing and they're no where near as well built as Ron's Tilton and don't ever seem to give grief!

Our motors are fairly safe being Non Interference by design so there's no chance of bending a valve through contact with a piston.
Be careful when the head is off and don't put it Chambers down as the valves stick out and could be bent if they touch the Bench/Floor!
