Josh: Sorry not familiar with the JZ routing but I stand by what I said the CC should NEVER see boost pressure!
So should be Cam Cover/s> CC> inlet between turbo and filter
A small tip I've found when either working on a 7M or prepping it for machine work!
VERY IMPORTANT POINT don't over tighten the Cam Belt tensioner!!
36 ft/lbs is the spec and at that we measured half a thou deflection in #1 cylinder!!
I go to the extent of taking the tensioner and bolt...
Not enough volume per stroke of the master will equal air left over in any highpoint in the system.......
Try a vacuum bleeder.
If the one way valve is functioning the booster should hold vacuum as long as the booster isn't leaking, 2>3 pumps of the pedal should exhaust it.
The bores REALLY need to be measured correctly BEFORE deciding on just a hone guys as often even though they still show hone marks they're NOT round anymore!
Ohhh and BTW I do use the Supra as a tow car ;)
Heaviest thing I've pulled with it was a milling machine that weighed a touch over 1000kgs! (did it so easily)
90 litre LPG tank
3.5" Pipe to the Cat then it splits into dual 2.5" to the rear of the car, Box in the middle is the centre muffler/glasspack.
Car dropped from 97db to 88db picked up a few rwhp and moved the power 1000 rpm earlier!
