    The Teflon is oversize and you need to fit it to each part of the crank so it'll work fine on your crank! They're a little noisey in use but not too bad.

    Yep it helps keep and dust and crap out of places you don't want it ;)! Just go slow with the speed or you'll end up wearing the grease....

    Not really you seem to have it covered! Maybe Grease up the drill bit and tap to make the swarf stick, plug the Ports if you're doing it on car.
