The plug totally bypasses the DIS-4 but the problem/issue I had with it was I was using the 480v Dis Racing CDI Coils so bypassed it still dropped 3 cylinders running the coils on 12v :(
(was an "interesting" drive home on 3)
Not really sure my second one seemed fine and I never tested the...
I've got a 9" Truetrac in my ma70 and it's perfectly happy at 550rwhp ;)
MSD's aren't "bad" as such but they either work or they don't, the first clue should be the bypass plug they include in the box.....

I was actually surprised at how quick I had it finished as I started at the end of a regular work day intending to just cut it ready for the next day of fabrication.
BT: I figure even with the heater flat out it's still going to be cooler in there than the interior of the car closed sitting in the Sun in summer ;)
SM: LOL yep a bit more flow out of that vent and the passeger misses out.
Everything lines up at #1 TDC
Both cams install straight up
Install the belt with no tension on the tensioner ie: Push the tensioner to the side and lock it.
Once the belt is on unlock the tensioner and it's spring will do the rest, tighten the tension bolt to 36ft/lbs NO MORE than this...
"Fried Rings" When they've been overheated to the point they've lost all tension and no longer seal combustion pressure.... (been there a few times over the years)
