    Can Supras Turn?

Mike: I think people see the Mk4 as the better handling Supra but forget that it's skidpad numbers are helped a LOT by the improvement in rubber between the years ;) Mk3 Suspension is the #1 reason I bought mine as it was lightyears ahead of anything else around at the time.

Brian Crower 7M cams and ignition timing issue

That just might be your motor's sweet spot As I said earlier this is why degreeing is so important to establish a 0 point

Why do some people have different size tires for F & R?

Dats: Taller sidewall will generally give more flex/bite on launches. Johnathan: ummm 2300 lbs ;)

Valve clearances - which is better?

Dave: Intakes are a thou tighter but due to the non adjustable shimless buckets I don't get too anal about a thou or two either way ;) (serious PITAS to adjust my motor) I run it a little looser than the stock spec as I do quite a bit of sustained high rpm driving and it tends to heat the...

Why do some people have different size tires for F & R?

Johnathan: Correct and while I have no hard data to back that up I can say the Fat one at 4012 lbs feels under tyred on 265/285's whereas my 240z at 2300 lbs felt great on 265/265's.

Why do some people have different size tires for F & R?

^ Actually it's more to do with larger diameter = great contact patch the width doesn't do a whole lot for straightline traction and is more of a benfit for cornering ;)

Why do some people have different size tires for F & R?

265/35/18 & 285/35/18's are the biggest I can squeeze in without them rubbing anything. I prefer using the same sidewall profiles F/R as I find it's easier to balance the handling.

Where to mount the Ballast for HID?

I wrapped mine in foam pipe lagging and some split convoluted tubing and then put them up in the Nose of the Fenders with zip ties. There's a shelf formed by the internal reinforcing brace that's a perfect place for them :)

Valve clearances - which is better?

Dave: For my Cams I have em set to 15 then this will allow them to close a touch due to valve recession (I aim for 13 once everything is broken in) As 07 said I'd prefer some slight noise than burning a valve.

    Lift Gate Support Rod/Shocks Rebuild

Had a bud in the US get me a pair from Pepboys and send em over, $22 each from memory and they have clips on the Ball socket that makes it easy to unclip them and fold the hood back for working on/engine removal/installation.
