my n/a would randomly have the battery die, my dad one night saw that my lights inside the car were on i thought they didnt work bc everytime i opened the doors they never turned on. I now keep the switch on the off position so it doesnt turn on when the doors open and the battery hasnt died on...
its basically a junk yard engine sitting for who knows how long. Prob can pick one up locally for cheaper, and with that extra money use for headgasket job.
For a while ive been wanting to swap a 7mgte, but i recently started to consider the 2jzge as well. I was wondering which setup would be the least expensive in the long run.
I know for the 2jzge i can pick it up for a decent price, but i will need a 1jz bellhousing, 1jzflywheel, and bic motor...
all the posts ive been reading have been done with the 7mgte harness and electronics and ecu. Can it be done with 7mge harness and electionics/ecu? and Yeaa... ive been looking at BICs website at those mounts too :]. First im going to check the engine out this weekend and ill go from there.
yeah i was looking an new bellousing and flyweel will run to about 600+ :/ i could maybe buy a used 1jz bellhousing but i would prob buy the flywheel new, and then i would need motor mounts too...do you know if any 2jzge harness would work? or are there certain ones that would make wiring...
