    "Tuned Header" is specific pipe lengths/diameters to produce power in a certain rpm band ;)

    Needs to be done on a skid pad under controlled repeatable conditions to be valid ;) "sustained" will give different results depending on radius.

    tach problems, one more time....

    Using an NA Tach here Mark, when I went standalone I had to take the tach to an instrument builder to have it "tuned" so it was happy with the Tach signal from the new ECU. Turns out Toyota tachs are very fussy and will only read in a narrow range.

    LMAO even the biggest oversize will add very little capacity to a 7M ;) (hence power) I'd put your numbers down to a good build with correct specs :)

    This may be so on a motor that's not 0 balanced ie:454 chev but ours are so he's feeding you incorrect information. If the Flywheel and Pressure plate have been balanced as an assembly soon as you change either part it needs to be done again.

    Yep correct but as always physically measure them to be 100% sure! (the machinst should do this before touching the block)

    .05mm = 1.9 thou If it's a OEM piston it's marked in metric.

    I've never seen a 2 thou oversize piston for anything.

    Stamped .5 would be half a mm or +20 thou.

    Mark: I'd like to see the maps in use when it died. Anything else is useless. Motor's don't just eat parts for no reason and it would be nice for J to have a 100% answer so it doesn't happen again.

    J: Ok if you're sure it's never leaned out on power that narrows it down some. Bent/stuck/incorrectly adjusted valve is my guess. Can you post your fuel and ignition maps? (hi res screenshots will do)
