uh, well i sure as hell go and check on my car if i hear its alarm, wtf?
alarm noise would scare away 99% of joyride car thieves anyway. his car wasn't stolen by some master thieves, guys. just a punk kid or whatever.
you can drive any turbo to school and work.... question is, how much power/spool are you looking for?
edit: how deep are your pockets? do you have a price range?
Treys turbo isn't a true to4r, it was an upgraded ts04 or t04s (whatever it was), in which he "named" it a custom built to4r.
I take it that this is going to be a .70 comp .96 exh a/r. true to4r? In that case, they're good for 650rwhp, and spool at 4000rpms, I believe. I used to have one...
(sigh) I hate stupid drivers, and I hate seeing wrecked mkiii's. I'am glad you walked away from the accident. You know what they say, any accident you can walk away from was a good one? That car is in no way totaled, buy it back and make it better than ever.
How did you hit this guy? I'm...
Lag is overrated. If you're getting full boost by 5000rpm, lets say with an 8000rpm red-line, your golden. 2-step, brake boost or drop a gear. And if you have one of these big turbos with a stock red-line, and your complaining...I wonder why. < speaking in contrast, not to the people in this thread.
Looks like I was right.
Ok, now that I've seen it on a car....I love it, but the rear MUST go or be redesigned into something that's not so long and 'chunky' looking. If you guys decide to market the kit, I'd do so. Well, that's my opinion.
