still a hell of a lot more money that a turbo setup, and I bet it doesn't have the same powerband or reliablity...
well, an '04 car is a HELL of a long way from the technology on our cars...
you can always swap the cluster if you need the cleanest install...
IIRC since it won't have the connections to the tranny they don't light up, could be wrong though...
you're asking for more than 100HP per liter out of an N/A engine...
possible? yes
expensive as hell? HELL YES
to do that you'll have to raise the rev limiter and have everything to go along with it. Even then you won't have nearly the torque of a GTE. This is why an S2000 can go down...
I've spent a boatload of money on my car to get it reliabe, and it's still not done in my eyes (still on an unknown milage shortblock)
Would I trade it for anything else?
Not in your fucking dreams, I love my car.
worse case scenario, moist air and/or water got into a cylinder or two and rusted the walls of the cylinder...
It would be nice to save the car though, I don't see many on the road...
no, cause then if the stud snaps you'll make it tough to remove it from the head (if not impossible)
helicoils when properly installed with loctite and using antiseize with the studs and nuts will be problem free...
On the GTE's they tend to blow HG's worse and overheat worse to the point...
twincharger doesn't matter the order, since the more air into the engine (fed from the supercharger) means more out to spool the turbo...
it works, and i have less IC piping...
