Lotus-born suspension on the MKIII Supra?

agreed... the 89 models where lowered a bit, but there where MANY different springs over the years (at least per the TSRM) I find the car got scary if you got it too sideways and it all of a sudden would bite in and throw you the other way violently. I consider myself a damn good driver...

    spec multidisk clutch

I'm sure there is a few pics of it in the TX2K7 threads around, it was pretty mean... I'm unsure of the LS1 as they are easily one of the best engines recently made, but if the thrust bearings in the motor were actually force fed oil like the rest of the bearings it would probably help...

Lotus-born suspension on the MKIII Supra?

not only that, they trade assembly line use... hence the vibe/matrix, toyota cavilier (ick), ect... yes, toyota has quite a large share of suby now, hopefully they make some sweet cars... how about a supra style car with the drivetrain of an STi? oh, and the MKIII could easily be...

    spec multidisk clutch

I've seen too many engines lost from heavy PP's to run one... not to mention the stacked design of the RPS likes to slip with hard use... did this LS1 powered RX-7 happen to go to TX2K7? there was one there that put a hurting on quite a few MKIV's...

why bother going bigger than 264's?

seemed to actually hurt the power of the engine all across the board... maybe with more tuning or degreeing it would see larger gains, but you CAN go too big on cams...

    silly honduhs.

you reacted wrong... you're supposed to be ready for them and as they're coming up on you at 100MPH, you're in the right gear and floor it to stop them beside you and then you walk on them... rinse, repeat, laugh at ricer or get a DDP and they get scared and leave you alone... nobody...

    Is Wider really better

not to mention untrue... as long as the supra has enough grip, it has 4 tires and has the advantage... watch the vids from Top Gear when he takes an Atom and tears up a sportbike on their track...

    spec multidisk clutch

let's just say if you need to use an RPS 3200lb PP, then you need to step up to a multiplate... Seen far too many issues with heavy PP's to ever run a nasty one on my car (my Action clutch has a stiffer one, but nothing like the RPS engine killer...) You're right, clutches are rated in...

    Wonderful!

you're forgetting there is a small passage for coolant to go through in the intake manifold flange, more than likely that's the spot it's leaking from because the manifold is cracked there...
