    Squeaky steering wheel

not the steering wheel but 99% of the time I've had noise from turning a steering wheel it's been the clock spring for the horn...

To PPS or Not to PPS? Now, that is the question....

well, PPS came at the same time they deleted the steering stabilizer, which would explain the smaller pulley... I know the pully is different depending on year for a fact though...

    hints/tips/tricks marlincrawler shifter bushing install?

Mine sticks a bit to the passenger side... It's from wear and tear on the shifter it appears, but i'd have to try a brand new shifter to confirm it (and I'm not doing that unless I go to a C's shifter)

Just curious as to what oil pressure you guys are getting on a stock setup

10PSI per 1K RPM on mine... Pennsoil Platinum 5W-30 soon to be changed to German Castrol... Keep in mind the NA's tend to have higher oil pressure because they don't have the crappy oil cooler circuit that bleeds pressure, nor oil squirters to do that same... My pressure peaks around...

    How the???

there are a number of threaded plugs in the head, the ones on top that hold the center gasket down go into the oil galley, and the ones down in the spark plug wells (there are 3, one between 1&2, 3&4, 5&6) go into the coolant jacket of the head. Sounds like you need to remove the plug and...

What in the hell have I gotten myself into?

if it's leaking when it's sitting, it's more than like the oil drain plug leaking, or the oil filter... at least from my experience with cars. Anywhere else will quickly be drained when the car is off...

    Steering Spacers installed

Caster is auto-countersteer for drifting and most of the drift cars use a LOT of caster... Personally, I'd just want these for U-turns...

Do you want Energy Suspension Poly Bushings? READ HERE.

Hopefully they make the motor/tranny mounts and steering rack bushings as well... Wiisass brings up a good point, the best would be a car with perfect stock bushings and not one with shot bushings...

    battery question...

I'm partial to optimas as they don't leak as easily (they will "vent" when overcharged), and I've seen too many vehicles ruined by the acid...

To PPS or Not to PPS? Now, that is the question....

That's not the PPS, it's a worn pump or the idle up isn't working properly... Only time I don't like PPS is when the wheel speed is fast, but you're not going fast (if you get my drift), then the wheel gets tough to turn like you are going fast... Or if you're insain and like taking high...

Release Bearing Assembly Fit. Loose or Tight

Mine wasn't loose at all, I could move it around, but it took some effort... That was with every part being BRAND NEW from the dealer. When I took the clutch out to change it it had loosened up some, but it still has zero in-out movement (this is why the wave/cone washers are so critical...

    Original Engine?

didn't think there was any way to tell if the engine was original... The older cars had the same number on the engine as on the rest of the car, hence the "numbers matching" cars that go for tons of cash... Why would you want the original engine so badly?
