    Aftermarket upgraded pistons?!?!

I'm going to guess that they're not stock, but oem replacements. You said you bought it with a blown head gasket. If it had a BHG, then it almost certainly didn't have a MHG. ANYONE who is going to use forged pistons, is going to use a metal head gasket and arp's. They wouldn't spend $500 on...

    Nevermind

On this same subject: Does the fuel pump have a one-way check valve in it? I was wondering what keeps fuel from backing down the supply side. My car is hard to start, and its because I have no 'at-rest' pressure. I'm just wondering if it's my FPR or my pump's check valve. Thanks.

Battery charging issue....really need assistance on this:-(

You said the fusible link was good- the black-coated loop wire? I'm trying to remember if that fuse was indeed part of the charging system. I remember it was on my old Z- in fact, the car had a few of those links. The only way to tell if they'd blown(aside from a multimeter) was to feel...

It's either the alarm has a short on the remote start hot line, or you have a stuck starter solenoid.

Parts discount- thought this might be useful info

NO, I don't have any affiliation with the company. I just went onto the advance auto website to price compare a part, and saw that thru 3/2, they have up to a 20% discount on orders of more than $150, and free shipping on anything over $75. My part was originally $178(which already was the...

I believe that the passenger side is identical, but the driver's side is larger for the R154.

    Rear windshield upper molding

I peeled my plastic off and painted with spraycan flat black- it's held up for a year so far. But I just did it as a temporary fix- I got a new one in a bag that I'm saving for the repaint.

Having fun with a soldering gun...

Yes, I'm going to buy led bulbs for the keyring, cluster, etc. I never even knew my foglight switch lit up, and my hazard light has been dead since the Clinton years. I'm a bit confused on which style of bulb to get for the 194's and the 74- Should I get the 4-5 element smd types, or the bulbs...

Having fun with a soldering gun...

Into where? the fog/ hazard switches, and the window switch?? If you mean the instrument cluster and the other places that a 74 or 194 would go, then yes.

Having fun with a soldering gun...

Ok- soldering iron, but it wouldn't have rhymed. I've been busy exploring my climate control, as well as a few other things. Just got done with the hazard switch and the foglight switch, as well as the driver's side window switches: Still working on the CC, waiting for the temp...
