Basicly the flat part where the rear nuts holds the heatsheild to the elbow needs to be cut off. It's pretty easy to figure out what you need to cut is you test fit it...

The balancer is PRESSED ON when you tighten the bolt (hence the very high torque spec for the bolt) Use a puller like you're supposed to so you don't break stuff. I ALWAYS use an impact to remove the flywheel bolts as I use red loctite to make sure they don't come out.

IIRC they where produced by eibach (much like the TRD exhaust was HKS, ect) Most of TRD parts are rebadged or contracted out. It would take testing to see if they are EXACTLY the same as the current eibach units though...

It appears to be designed in, and isn't a bad idea (from a comfort perspective) It also helps prevent bottoming out, which is a very good thing. Eibach makes some of the best springs in the world, but their lowering springs are more for looks and keeping the lowered car from bottoming out...

Stock is fine for most people. -Cheap -Fits perfect -Is not under boost pressure, so it doesn't have to be uber strong -The AFM is the restriction, NOT the accordian hose. It's up to you if you want to spend the money on it or not, but I forsee no gains from using it over a stock one...

Not when it's ceramic coated. Also, you can modify the part that bolts to the back of the elbow on the stock heatshield and it will fit on and look stock, and work as it should.
