Will NEVER buy Racetrack as I knew someone that was a manager at one... They are allowed to have a certain percentage of water in their tanks, and they always run right at that limit by adding water to the tanks.
Texaco gas killed our lawnmower and 3 weedeaters as well...
But why? The company that makes the reciculated ones also make a normal DDP (I know, i have one on my car right now)
Personally because the seal is NOT as good as BIC's I'd go recir. if I was to buy one now. The noise is annoying at idle...
I've had people nearly end up in the ditch from the wastegate opening beside their car.
I've seen dirty looks, had people blare their horns at me, ect...
Yes, it's THAT loud.
Yes it gets annoying eventually, but it does teach you to drive out of boost :biglaugh:
Not a fan of solids on ANY car.
Tends to rattle fasteners loose and just overall drive you batshit from the vibration. Most of the F-body guys I've known only run one solid that basicly acts like a hinge to stop the torqu from ripping the engine out, and the other one is stock to kill the...
The pearl white one with the blue flames and TPI motor I have seen in person (the owner is in this area from what I understand).
It's SPOTLESS, has nitrous and the engine has been worked over a bit. It's pretty damn fast for what it is surprisingly. The work is VERY well done and it sounds...
Hopefully this is till going after TX2K8 as money is tight right now and I'll have more funds after it.
But definately in for both, and I'm curious what the clear corner covers look like on a car...
shhhhhh this was a secret, I wanted to be the first...
Can't afford it till after TX2K8 though, but the stock targa without the trim weighs a HELL of a lot still (yes mine has been totally apart).
ANY weight off the top of the car is a good thing, that's why they use aluminum roofs on the...
Looks normal, that's probably the old gasket (and old grease) that goes between he plate and the top part of the hole on the shifter (where the bolts go through), yes you can get it from the dealer, but I used some FIPG as it's easier to replace as my shifter always seems to be out for some...
Backpressure is an old term that the old guys used.
They thought that the backpressure in the exhaust actually helped push the piston down (how it did this with a valve in the way I have no idea).
Much more recently they've figured out it's the scavenging effects of the other exhaust...
Good lord, the Catholic Church is about as far as you can get from being a true Christian that you can get.
I consider myself a Christian, and even go to church, but I don't ally myself with any denomination, especially the Catholic church.
Most people see "The Church" as this horrible...
Rolex sux, they may look nice but they can't keep time worth a flip...
Metal bands increase the weight of the watch, and mine already weighs a ton. Not to mention that they always pinch or pull my arm hair out...
This is why you ALWAYS lubricate the seal with oil, and ONLY tighten hand tight.
I have never, EVER had an issue with an oil filter. If a wrench doesn't take it off I'd be inclined to take heat to the rubber seal.
If you burn your car down, DON'T BLAME ME.
Sounds a hell of a lot like the throwout assembly destroying itself...
Not just the bearing, but the hub, snaprings, ect...
Is the clutch stock, or has it been replaced? If it's been replaced, if it's done wrong in ANY way it WILL fail eventually.
Pull the inspection plates and see if...
Did the car jerk really hard and the check engine light came on?
Welcome to fuel cut, it hurts... but is completely normal protection from overboosting...
