id like to see it w/out extending in the stock location. stock is beyond the glovebox and the harness needs to go over near the Intake manifold on the other side of the engine bay. id really like to see how that is done
yeah. get the ECU and see what happens. i dont remember when my hydro fan ECU was unplugged if it ran on constant high or low. if yours is running constant low, thats probably your issue right there.

That's not really extended driving at high load though is it? autoX is short and so are freeway pulls.
I've beat on my car on a mountain road with my 1J for about 20-30 minutes at once. WOT and RPMS staying between 5k-7k the whole time and i NEVER saw the temp creep up at all from normal...
i dont know how you guys do it on a daily basis. i had it like that for about 10 minutes just to see the effects in power and sound. i immediately put it back on.
i prefer the tone of my catback alot more. its a nicer sound.
theres no manipulating the throttle on open downpipe :lol:
i tried it the other day on my 1J and god damn i cant do that for more than 3.567 minutes. i noticed my topend was noticeably better, but not worth it!
its ok, i got a test pipe coming in. that will serve fine
