i dont see the point for water-air on a street driven car. the cooling effect is much better but once its all heat soaked, its useless... thats why its mostly only drag applications.

its not that its too expensive, but if there's an easy solution to the current problem id rather find it a spring would cost an insignificant amount. and if it fixed the issue, then cool. if not then option B and C are next to try.
