Actually, on a turbo car anything after the turbo doesn't really matter, the bigger the better.
Anything before the turbo will make the difference.
Scavenging can also be helped by header and collector design (grouping ports together to increase velocity), and this also carries over to...
Turbo-A ducts when installed and used properly serve a function (this is why they where put on the Turbo-A's in the first place)
Also, the ab-flug rears follow a natural bodyline and don't really need to be molded in, now the bomex rears...
This is wrong. EPA regulations changed the normal octane booster for ethanol in all gasolines.
Miss the sign that says "contains up to 10% ethanol?"
One of the main reasons I'm against people removing their charcoal canisters as the ethanol is the first part to evaporate, leaving you with...

It's the velocity of the exhaust gas and the scavenging effect it has to remove the exhaust from the cylinder and also pull in fresh air during overlap.
The size of the pipe that allows such velocity can then become a restriction at...

That last section he could have probably shifted to get more speed, and the rest of the time it looks like he's fighting with the gearbox (missed shifts, wrong gear, ect)
But yes, it's a full race car while the competition is not...
Quench helps with the mixture, but those edges could cause hotspots.
I'd be interested to see what the difference in pistons is, as I have a feeling it's also a part of the puzzle...
