stupid drive shaft. whats better steal or alumn

They aren't as impact resistant, and a nick in them will cause a failure (think strong but fragile). After seeing that one guy with the Crown have a 1-piece driveshaft failure, I won't go near em...

    How many run without EGR?

The back of the head IS hotter, but NOT because of the EGR. It's the farthest from the heat exchanger (radiator), nothing more. This is why companies in Japan made coolant bypasses to the back of the block to keep it cool back there. Why would they do that if it was the EGR? Oh wait...they...

Crysis crashing during opening video... can someone help?

If you have a good enough cooler (swiftech with a delta hairdryer of death fan) you'll be able to overclock the piss outta that CPU... You could remove your cooler, clean the hell outta it, and use arctic silver. Stock AMD coolers are fine, even for considerable overclock, but it seems like...

Crysis crashing during opening video... can someone help?

Might just not have the power to pull it off... A couple games I've played I had to go into the config files and tweak the piss outta them to get the settings even lower. Also, you can set global driver settings for the video card to get things even lower.

Crysis crashing during opening video... can someone help?

-Make sure you have all drivers updated. -Make sure Crysis is patched -Make sure you have the newest redist of DX Looks like the CPU is going to be your bottleneck on your system, so I'm unsure if it will run. I should try it on my box as I'm kinda close to your setup...

7mgte crank question and head stud sizing.

-pull oil pan -get a block of wood in there to stop the crank from rotating -loosen crank pully bolt Do this once the head is off of I think you'll have issues with your engine stand, and you'll need someone to hold the engine while to break the bolt loose so you don't flip the engine on...
