    Computer Guys!

Like I said, WoW doesn't care about the speed of the RAM, only that you have enough of it in a raid setting or your HDD is constantly thrashing... Video card RAM makes a difference too. It really depends on the application of the computer...

stupid drive shaft. whats better steal or alumn

I'll answer for him. Yes it raises the critical speed, and he runs a custom 2 piece. With the speeds these cars can attain, it's a smart move to run a 2-piece (like toyota did)

    Tubbed Supra

Have no idea how much more clearance you'd get as I've never seen anyone do it. I'm curious to see how much clearance you could get (I bet our suspension SME might have some insight...)

Look at the top strut mounts. Stock top mounts are centered, on the the race car it's offset and angled inward. It's not a LOT of clearance, but when you as much rubber as possible on the track...

    '92 block Can I use this * L@@K *

If they acid dip the block it should remove the rust... The oil pump drive bearing MUST be replaced if it's acid dipped, but looking at the rest of the block I would have it done anyway.

    Computer Guys!

Some motherboards are more finicky than others on dual channel. My sticks aren't matched, but will run at dual channel anyway. The advantage of dual channel isn't debatable, it doe increase speed noticably. Now the other speed numbers on RAM -speed (this is required to be a certain level...

    Computer Guys!

Server 2008 > Vista Server 2003 > XP Vista is being SCRAPPED according to hints from M$, so the support card isn't great. Also, the support for their server OS's has always been a hell of a lot faster (big corporate customers = big money)

    Computer Guys!

XP Pro is actually MORE bloated than normal XP... I run server OS's because I don't feel like wasting my processing power on stupid crap that doesn't need to be running, and I don't feel like having the OS bitching cause I turned something off. In my lean boot mode I've gotten down to 7...

    Computer Guys!

From what I understand anything over 3GB will overrun to the rest of the RAM instead of be actively placed and controlled like normal... You're both wrong, XP and Vista are both unstable :D
