Hi IJ can you explain this a little more, i spent alot on machining a year ago and had everything possible machined and balanced including the already balanced forged pistons. Are you saying the head should be torqued down along with the head gasket being used while boring? I never included it...
Sorry matey i didnt realise youd already strengthened the normal weak points, so why not try a masterpower turbo maybe a t70 with a .68, do you feel that would be too agressive for your setup? They seem to be great value and are good for 500rwhp.
Im so jelous , i miss my ma61 terribly.lol.
This is all to go on a mark 2 right? have you driven a 400rwhp mark 2? fark there fun, mine was just 300 rwhp and itd spin everywhere lol.Id be inclined to go for a ct26-57 and just enjoy, otherwise youll uncover a few weak points.
Diff, gearbox...e.t.c

Ive seen in the past vipers that were quick in a one lap but after a few the tyres start going off and they are slippery as ice, this zr1...

Take the drag car from the strip and run it into a few hard corners at the same speed the nissan is capable of and watch what happens.
Use some common sense man.
I love the way supra fans are quick to bag them out but the reality is they are a work of art and straight out of the box they not only go well but handle exceptionally.
Any sort of cut and chop job can make good quarters or dyno figures but on a track is where it really shines, hurry up toyota...
