Do you want Energy Suspension Poly Bushings? READ HERE.

^^NICE! Actually, it looks like the rear upper arms are side-specific (left/right). One of them has a raised R and the other looks like it may have a stamped L (looks like an upside down 7). No, I did not mark them when I removed them, since I thought they were the same. No part numbers...

    Headlight issue

Noticed this recently, but have not even begun to troubleshoot... The driver's side headlight is on, when I turn on the parking lights. They are both down, but the driver's one is on and lights up the area underneath. Poor man's neon? I have a set of HIDS I'd like to eventually install...

    1J Crank Pulley + Napa Socket =

Not reverse thread... but daaayuuum! Try again with a Craftsman (or better) socket. Maybe use an impact one, since they are much sturdier. Is the engine still in the car? Us the starter/bump method. Has worked EVERY time, as far as I know. Basically you brace everything...

Do you want Energy Suspension Poly Bushings? READ HERE.

Any reason you can think of why it would not be in the kit? Some of these other bushings are also a PITA to remove/replace, so I am at a loss. I am going to order from Toyota and have on hand for the next opportunity, but would like to know how to remove/install them, if anyone did them...

Upgraded front brakes 300 zx calipers.

What else is needed, just to get the dimensions documented? Let's do that, I'll help. The next step would be to send out for bids and see what the cost options are. Let's just take it a step at a time, but continue to make forward progress...

Do you want Energy Suspension Poly Bushings? READ HERE.

Dang it... Looks like something I'll have to order from Toyota. Oh well. I'll get the rest of this done and maybe revisit that one later. Anyone know of a source for a poly one, or is that not an option for this one (which is why it's not included in the kit)?

Do you want Energy Suspension Poly Bushings? READ HERE.

Thanks to Supraguy88T, everything's ready for re-installation (I had to go out of town last week and have had zero time to do this myself). I do still have to replace the bushings at the rear spindles/hubs. Looks like the ES kit only has a set of bushings for the trailing arm (strut rod)...

    fuel injector service shops

Went to use him and he could not mess with my side-feed injectors, but he works closely with Tim at www.cleaninjectors.com... Tim picked up the injectors wednesday and has 'em ready to ship today... $104 shipped. These are both good guys and work together to get the job done for you...

    Breaking up around 3000rpm

Any new updates from anyone? Got to try and get to more of this, this weekend (as well as put my suspension together, A/C fill, etc).

    Bleeder plug broke off

Did teh same with a speedbleeder on my wife's MKIV. Tried to use easy-outs and they just broke inside and made it impossible to remove (tried t redrill 'em ALOT of times). Easiest thing to do is get another caliper from a parts car. These calipers aren't very expensive from the junk yards...

    Breaking up around 3000rpm

Dang... Took away the only scrap of hope I had left. I forgot that it is grounded via E2. I have an aftermarket temp sender/gauge. I'll have to mess with this some more this weekend.

    Breaking up around 3000rpm

I may dremel some of the chrome off, where the sensor seats onto the waterneck, just to be sure. Everything else checks out, so I am hoping it's a grounding issue of some sort.

    Breaking up around 3000rpm

Walboro fuel pump, stock Aristo injectors/fuel rail/dampner/ECU. I did test (using multimeter) the TPSs I've used, ignitor, coilpacks, IAC Valve (it is bad - RPM bounces at idle, but tested good-according to TRSM... replacement on the way). I have not tested the cam position sensors or...

    Breaking up around 3000rpm

Any new progress? I am going to try and put some time into mine this weekend. can you tell me all the components you swapped, when troubleshooting? Instead of repeating that, maybe I can try some of the stuff that you may not have gotten to or tried yet. I don't have any way to adjust my...

Upgraded front brakes 300 zx calipers.

I'm still in for getting them reproduced. If there is not enough interest here, then at least get all of the components together and get the CAD files made for each custom piece. Maybe we can eventually get lucky enough with a group member who can fab 'em up for us and make them financially...

Upgraded front brakes 300 zx calipers.

Sorry guys... been out of town.... I am in for a set or two (Lexus or 300z) for a front BBK. Rears also, if I can keep the parking brake. As far as using 1 machinist... I believe if the dimensions for these pieces are put into CAD or similar, you can send out for bid and see if there is...

Upgraded front brakes 300 zx calipers.

Are these the '90-'96 ones? Also, If we have the files (CAD?) with the dimensions, etc, couldn't this be sent out for quotes from multiple machine shops?

Experienced 2jzgte swap dudes. Please help

Also..FYI... That E10 (40-pin connector) can be found on SC300/SC400s at the junkyards. I did not see where it was mentioned earlier... Usually, they are already cut in the engine bay and you have to remove the 2 10mm bolts holding it to the firewall.

Targa people, would you be interested in...

I have a couple of the WeezL wings (1st and 2nd Gen) and the only thing I can think of that would be better, is if you could design and make it to fit with the targa on. Lance has one and it's nice to be able to pull into a stop, and throw the targa back on (hold by a bolt or two). Gives a...

    rusty wiper screw stuck

...Easiest thing to do is remove/replace it. I think I bought all 3 used from another member for under $20 shipped. Make sure that you get the screws/attachments with 'em. Soak that beeyatch with some PB Blast and hopefully the will come out. Th etrick I used was to us a pair of nice, new...
