Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Okay...Replacing springs on the rear of a TEMS car SUCKS. I had to half-remove the rear seat side panel, as well as the rear hatch plastic, just to get the TEMS cover off! So now I'm halfway done with ONE side of the rear... Then, when I got the old spring off, I found that the oem bumpstop...

    1987 7M-GE Rebuild

On a related note, I have a brand new Aisin pump still in its Toyota box, if you're really looking for one.

    1987 7M-GE Rebuild

I guarantee you that Evergreen just buys Aisin pumps, and stamps them. I bought an oil pump of Rock auto, and the 'Aisin' stamp was ground off it.

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Thanks, RHD. Since I have to wait for the hose till tomorrow, I put out a few small fires today. #1: Trim on this car was an issue when I got it. Namely, the smaller strip on the trim was shrunken in places, and peeling off the main trim. So I started working on that today. Nasty trim tape...

My journey with my '91 Sunroof.

On that video of you racing the Lambo, I never heard your turbo at all. Admittedly, your exhaust is loud, but what boost are you running at?

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Thanks. I installed my CSF radiator, oem shroud and fans yesterday, but when I filled it with water to test for leaks, it started pouring out of the heater core-to-coolant pipe area, at the rear, under the egr. Ironically, I bought an entire silicone hose kit, mainly because this particular hose...

Swapping oem radio for another oem...what are the possibilities?

Does the 16814 require an external amplifier, or does it power the speakers directly?

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Oops, forgot to update yesterday. So some good news and bad news: Got the fuel system primed, and checked for leaks, all good. Removed the efi fuse, and cranked it for about 10 seconds to build up oil pressure. Didn't see any. Stopped cranking, and started wondering how much oil was in the pan...

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

So I just installed the new fuel pump... MAN, is it small. Here's a pic of the oem pump, a TRE performance pump(old), and the Keyshan pump(255lph) that I just got. The pen I've had for a long time, and is just there for reference. And here it is, on the bracket. The fuel filter looked...

Swapping oem radio for another oem...what are the possibilities?

Also- a question about anti-theft. If I do buy an anti-theft oem radio, do I have to go to the dealer to get the code?
