Poodles - there's a difference between "Driving Lights", "Daytime Running Lights", "Headlights", and "Fog Lights". Those "lights" on the front of the GT Mustang are "Fog Lights".
Twigger - DO NOT REMOVE THAT SHIELD!
You will piss off other drivers and endanger yourself. You will also attract some unwanted attention from the red and blue flashing lights and likely have to pay a fine - AND repair your fog lights (you'd have to replace them at a cost of $100+ per side)...
MAN! I wish people could get this out of their heads. The "HACK JOB" has nothing to do with SOGI. That is like saying all of California is Disneyland.
Supras.com was the online home of SOGI but it also held a lot of other information. You don't call it the SONiC Shifter - I bet you...
It all depends on your definition of better.
I have the v3 and it is WELL worth the money (still on sale at SS BTW).
The v3 is a work of art with all new parts and includes the dampener to keep the vibrations from going straight through to your hand. I was even tempted to figure out how...
What do you consider MASS?
We typically get 50+ MkIIIs in Vegas (http://Vegas.Supras.Org). While not a MkIII specific event we do have some fun alongside the numerous MkIVs and healthy group of MkIIs (and even the occasional MkI)
I'll have to go with Dark on this one. I've used Meguiars products on my 89T and have had many friends also use the same stuff - actually had detailing parties at my house on occasion.
The trick is to really get the paint nice and clean before applying anything. Zaino on top of a dirty...
The C's and the S3 (or whatever the official name is) are both works of art and are well worth the $.
If the S3 is still on sale over @ SupraSport it isn't much more than then nm shifter and you don't have to ship your shifter out in order to get one.
Find a parts guy that is willing to work for you. Call Champion or Elmhurst Toyota.
My local parts guy was able to find these - although they may be discontinued now - a number of years back.
Now that the original post is gone...
What he wants to do (and is a GREAT idea BTW) is to be able to "park" (lower) the headlights without having to turn everything all the way off, wait for the lights to go down, and then turn just the marker lights back on.
Example: Say you are...
Way to go guys! Someone was actually "thinking" and you guys come in and $#!T on his creative process.
CRE - don't get discouraged. There are just a bunch of haters out there. I think you were on the right track. Imagine where we'd be if Edison had gotten discouraged about his lightbulb.
The key here is to "park" the headlights without having to turn off all exterior marker lights. My friend's RX7 (or was it the Miata) had this ability.
This was something I was working on quite a few years ago. James (91T) actually wanted to figure out how to make the headlights "wink"...
This made me laugh. Pics are all DPI. It all depends on how big/small you make them. A pic that is 150 pixels wide will be about 2" on a monitor (depending on the resolution) but will be less than an inch when printed @ 200dpi. You might get better results by specifying the size in pixels rather...
