Alright So I was messing with it and it didn't work. The red/black definately seems to be the constant power source. Still trying to figure out how to configure it to work.
Awesome I'll have to try it out hopefully that works, thanks guys.
New antenna has blue and red wires so red to blue-yellow and blue to blue-pink then.
Ok so I replaced my factory antenna with an aftermarket on and basically I'm set to go other than getting it to retract and extend when the radio shuts off.
I removed the wires from the plug where the original antenna plugs in and it will either only retract or only extend. Recorded my results...
Well I had one of my friends come over and tried his ECU to troubleshoot some more and it worked great after he hooked it up so the ECU was out on mine. I already knew I didn't have any vacuum leaks, but thanks for the responses guys
I did check the isc valve it is working, the last one I had got stuck in open position like I said. You can adjust the idle there is a screw in the throttle body that increases and decreases idling rpm, trust me it's there.
This morning I disconnected the efi fuse to reset the codes to see what would happen, so I start it up and it idles high. No matter how much I adjust the idle screw in or out it stays the same. I checked the codes and now it's just fast blinking. So I'm going to pick up a main relay and see if...
Ok so I changed and adjusted the tps on my car and thought the problem went away, it was giving me a code "51" before. So it was idling a bit high so I figured I'd just adjust the idle speed, which did not work, turns out the isc valve was stuck in an open(sticking out) position. So I started it...
Hey guys,
I've got an 88 n/a and it just started doing something really strange. The car starts strong but while it's idling it surges for no reason. First it goes up to 2k rpm then down to 1500 then back up to 2k. I checked my accelerator cable and it's fine. The weird thing is the ecu error...
Also known as a mitsu starion my friend has one of these and his head was cracked in between each one of those "air jets" they have in the head. I've actually heard they can be made pretty quick I can't personally say yet after we're done fixing his up I'll find out
The rsx is one of the few honda cars I like, I figure it will beat an N/a but not too sure about the turbo claim I think it's around high 14s or low 15s in the 1/4 mile stock
ok thanks guys I was thinking it wasn't likely but I was hoping maybe I could fix it somehow. I talked to someone who said they could give me a coil so I'm covered there. Guess I'll check out the pistons and crank then find a new block.
That thing is pretty fuckin ugly, what is with dodge trying to bring back all these old cars that look nothing close the the original. It's like them trying to make the daytona a truck(wtf?). I'll give ford credit for trying to go a bit retro, although I still think the new mustang is kinda...
