The SAFC isn't required for either, unless your tuner cannot get a decent fuel curve out of the MAFT, which is unlikely in the extreme. Some people running LARGE injectors have run into this kind of problem, however. Also, many folks have installed one essentially just for the pretty lights...

No, SC used to make and sell semi-solid ones with a bushing between two thick chunks of AL cylinder, but I don't think anyone does anymore. Should be pretty simple to make yourself if you wanted to, though. Especially as the dimensions are already posted in the FAQ. :)

I don't think he's going to be that slow, either. Almost perfect weight distribution, 200bhp engine in a 2500lb car, and bloody big brakes on all four corners is nothing to sneer at.
