The gasket itself. Beautiful. I expected it to be worse honestly. The only gasket ring that looked warped was #6, and very slightly.

Metal head gasket my ass!! I figured as much. Blew almost all the water jackets on the exhaust side and a couple on the intake side. On the positive side those cylinder walls are clean and smooth.

Just going to bolt up the r154 to the N/a for now until I get the Gte all finished. Then I will put it back onto the Gte. Updated pics a little later...

This is my filthy engine. If you look you can see all the dirt and oil build up. Well you don't have to look too hard. :D

Well I finally started on my rebuild. So since everyone else has a thread I'm gonna make my own. :icon_bigg I bought this car knowing I was gonna have some work to do. Started with replacing the stupid cut stock springs, crappy 89+ conversion and other various things. Not leaving out the damn...

My question is would this harm your engine? It sounds like he's trying to mimic what Chevy and Dodge are doing with their cars now, but I'm wondering about engine damage.

I still vote for a punch every time he lights up.
