    When I tun the key, I hear a slight click followed by two clicks from the passenger side by the tire under the hood. The two latter clicks are louder than the first one and sound like relays to me. The hood is off so it's easy to hear. Ok. I'll try using a jumper wire and post what I hear.

    Ok. So will that force the pump on if it's not dead? I'll do some searching on it too; but, what do I do after jumping the pins? Just turn the key or should I crack the FPR fitting then jump it to see if fuel comes out?

    Yeah, I'm hoping it'll last a little while. This thread got enough attention that I'll post my findings. Judging from the condition of the bearings, my guess would be that it should be fine for a good while. Some folks feel differently. I guess we'll see though. :icon_bigg

    Yep, it has/had a rod knock. Most of the rod bearings were badly worn. No copper showing; but, almost there. The crank has inspected 'OK' so far. Now I'm down to the mains.
