The sound is difficult to describe; but, it's sort of like a swooshing/chattering type noise. Sort of flappy too. It's the same sound of the turbo makes when spoooling and it does it every time while under boost. I have the 5 speed. My turbo does have side to side and back and forth shaft...

Someone may have already mentioned this side note; but, once you get things figured out and fixed, you probably should replace your fan shroud to maximize cooling! Just a friendly suggestion... :naughty:

Nope. It wasn't well taken care of at all. The kid I got it from took real good care of everything except the motor. When I first got it, I checked the oil and the dip stick was dry! It took 2-1/2 quarts to hit the dip stick. My guess is that the oil level was at or just below the bottom of...

Yeah, not as thick. He He...nope, it's not pink! It seems to be gray colored almost. I put some drops from the dipstick onto white paper looking for green; but, it's hard to tell. Nope, nothing ran hot. Temps stay good. I'm really worried I've got a BHG!:cry:

Yeah, I noticed it on cool down. I just went and checked my oil. The oil is fresh, like 20 miles on it, maybe. And it looks a little thin and not 'Honey' colored anymore. BHG?

I just got my car back up and running after 2+ years. I've been taking it out on short runs to make sure nothing is going to fall off before I start using it as my daily driver. :biglaugh: I noticed tonight that my upper radiator hose is collapsing. My temp is fine. What could cause this...

I just threw a set of rod bearings at my 114k engine and oil pressure at idle is approximately 38. According to the stock gauge anyway... Does that sound about right...what are y'all getting?
