It is turbo. But it has been a long time since the car has ran. I figured it entirely too possible that something elses expiration date expired while sitting around for the rebuild. Maybe I just forgot how hot the car ran, and Im sure the retarded timing wasn;t helping. Coolant temp should be...
10 degrees advanced is where its set now. I was figuring on manufacturer, but wondering why they both didnt have resistant values for all temperature ranges.
The guage reads normal (about 3 notches below horizontal), but the engine is really warm. Everything in the engine bay becomes to hot to touch, not just warm.
I just finished a rebuild on the motor and I set the timing, and then discovered a code 51 (TPS). I fixed that and went to reset the...
10 seonds?!!?! Not mine! I think my lock nut was welded on. Or maybe it was cast on the shaft as one part. The bolt stripped, and every muscle below the shoulders spasamed.
Other wise, it woulda been a 10 second job. If only...
I was reading tekdeus thread and wit his meth kit+550s, he is basically running a 650cc All programed by an Apexi.
Could either the apexi or maft pro control 650s efficiently/correctly?
I would want enough fuel for say 650 or 700 hp or 700cc/min/cylinder.
Could A piggy back pull almost...
I really cant wait to see how this graph looks. I want to know if that .68 is to small of a housing for that tubro.
Why the AEM and the AFM?
Cara looking amazing!
FML. I was calling it wrong, i've been wanting to say it was the clutch release hub. Those washers, I remember them being tight, but did not take any tollerances.
It also seems that as the transmission warms up, the noise gets softer. Could it be that after 4 years of sitting on the floor that the transmission would have lost enough fluid to cause this? There were never any leaks under the transmission when it was in storage.
No grind. No squeak. More or less like some nuts or bolts in a washing machine.
The noise dicipates at probably 3/4 pedal disengagement. I assume that just has to do with where the pedal freeplay is set to.
Ill open up the inspection covers tomorrow to see if I can wiggle the bearing or not.
Just finished my Rebuild and have just passed a whopping 30 miles!! Anyways the transmission has a noise when the clutch is out (both in or out of gear). If the clutch is in, The noise is gone.
When I bolted up the transmission, it was out of the car, and done not to spec of tsrm. The brand...
Same here. But they will only say not to use them, and cant seem to describe why there bad. :slap: Kinda like the way people do with motor oil.
Do AGM and gel batteries differ alot, or are they on a fairly even playing field?
What makes the optima battery worth another $50? Will it increase the longevity of my muffler bearings?
Can anyone recommend one of these for me over a, say duralast or equivalent?
I find humor in he fact that even spending hundreds of hours of labor and thousands of dollars to make space for a huge tire our back with a widebody, you still cant get away from wheel spin. Isnt there a definition of insanity that corresponds to this happening? Maybe its in the dictionary...
HAHA not 5 minutes before opening this thread did I set my background to a saved photo of that highwaydemon. Cool to see more pictures of it. Great photos btw
