    SupraMania.com stickers! Who's in?

Gee, that would be nice - for me! No, that's way too much money. Stickers are $1.50 each, plus $1.50 shipping, so 4 stickers = $6 + $1.50 shipping = $7.50 total. No shipping and handling from me, ever.

Gawd, I hope not, I still hate everything that guy stood for, and he's been dead and buried for years. PS: Obviously, my vote was wrong, as we're still here. Dammit. ;)

wierd email from me to me

That just means that someone else has two things: 1. A virus 2. You in their address book The virus obviously isn't smart enough to figure out it shouldn't be sending email to the person it's trying to emulate. Downside is, chances are one of your friends has a nasty virus, and there's no way...

lol - I bet you can pull the tranny in about 20 minutes by yourself now.

wierd email from me to me

There are many virus programs / spyware programs that can do this. The good news is that they aren't neccesarily on your machine, although it's always good practice to check. What they do, is steal the address book on a computer, pick an address in the book, and impersonate that address while...

    At the hospital....

Ouch. I'll point the healing vibe machine your direction, none of my mountain bike buddies are laid up at the moment. :) Best wishes for a fast heal up!

Man is a rationalising animal, not a rational one. I forget where I read that, years ago, but it's not originally from me. Tanya, your avatars are consistently wicked... LOVE 'em. :)

Congratulations! What day was he born? Mine was 5/19, must be awfully close!

    Would you trust this wrench?

I don't think she could reliably do the 197 foot pounds for the main pulley bolt. ;) I have a Craftsman, it's been good to me. Craftsman doesn't have a lifetime warrantee anymore on torque wrenches though, it's 1 or 2 years now, and no grandfather clause for us oldschool guys, either. You can...

Need a prank deterrent - Help from EE's needed

My personal suggestion would be one of those 'talking' alarms - then get a recording that's LOUD, says something to the tune of "HELP! SOMEONE IS STEALING THIS CAR!! HELP!!!"

Need a prank deterrent - Help from EE's needed

Doing this invariably leads to forgetting to tighten it down one day when it rains a bit and having it fly off on the street. :(

    SupraMania.com stickers! Who's in?

You betcha, still have white, silver, and black in stock. Shipping is a bit tougher for me at the moment, lots of time spent at work + a newborn AND a toddler kindof slows down the rest of your life, but I'll deal with it somehow. :)

    Pimp the CPS

As mentioned - a guy by the name of arz is making and selling them. I've got one too, it's a fantastic piece of work.

..ooOOOoo.. - look what the postman gave me!

Not a whole lot of other things you can do with one of these motors. I might just pick up some aftermarket rods, but the jury is still out on that. Eventually I'd like to move to a separate turbo / wastegate setup, likely a GT35R or something around there, but that's all external. We'll see...

How much boost on stock gasket.

Close - it was a stock turbo, and I think the 20psi is what killed it, to be honest. I ran 16psi for nearly a year without any problems as well. As always, YMMV, be careful and get it tuned right before you go this route.

Oil coming from between head and block after HG installation

If it's leaking oil, and you had already added coolant, it will need to be drained completely and both oil and coolant completely replaced. The short version is that you are going to have to tear it apart again anyhow, just to find out what went wrong. Could be the rivet - though it usually...
