i think the rule of thumb was a level cooler for each bpu level or somethin like that.

mine goes into 5th rough and its starting to have trouble in second. try aiming for the proper engine speed as you shift, or if you have to, wait a second to catch up to speed or double clutch it.

only way to do that would be to drop a getrag or a borg/warner 6 speed in it. and the only way to do that would be with the 1jz bell housing. when i was looking into a 2jz swap with the 6 speed tranny, this is what i was told. no clue about the fitment or anything, but im guessing it might...

we're not hating on the skyline, just the obsessive kids... but yeah, its a damn nice car and id pick one up any chance id get, especially the r32s. its just that i dont think they're the best and say "well if i had a skyline i could kick any other car's ass"

well, since its a 2.5 cylinder now i suppose ill let it go for half price. but i warn you, there are a few problems with oil leaking on the third cylinder.

ran a search, couldnt find what i was looking for. what spark plugs would anyone recommend. i know that ngk coppers and iridiums seem popular, but how are the autolites compared to these? and does anyone know the plug number for the NA?

not to crush dcru's thread, but just something that ive thought about from time to time. it bugs me how every kid looks at the skyline like it's some unattainable god of racing. everyone says "ooh, well if i had a skyline...", or "a skyline is my dream car" or so on. it kinda pisses me off...
