    drag racing clutch opinions

I love my clutch (it's in my sig), and if it starts slipping I'm going multiplate or auto... I won't go anywhere near the RPS 3200 pressureplate, and that's the only other clutch setup that will take more power in a single disk.

    Bigger disks?

/facepalm Listen to Doward on this...

    Exhaust manifold - flow

Yep, I agree as well, but bolt on turbos are nice when all the stock stuff bolts on... Going full T04 isn't just the cost of the manifold...

Did TOM'S ever make anything for MK3's

    Question on OEM springs

Whiteline springs are discontinued, you'd have to find em secondhand. Hell, they used to make coilovers as well (not sure if they did for our cars), and they actually were valved for the vehicle...

    BG syncroShift 2 ??

How about taking it from someone that's tried them all (like me). I had a second gear grind that Royal Purple (tried both syncromax and maxgear) made a little better at first, but once I got some miles on the oil and especially after the tranny warmed up, it got MUCH worse to the point second...

    Flywheel bolts keep backing off...

Tranny R&R is a piece of cake with a tranny jack ;) Took longer to get the car jacked up high enough and on the jackstands than it did to pull the tranny, replace clutch, and put the tranny back on...

    Exhaust manifold - flow

Actually, most of the restrictions can be reached easily (the large bumps from where the studs are in the manifold) but it's cast iron so it's shitty work to do. 500HP+ has been done on a ported stock manifold...

    Navy....thinking aobut joining

Wanna be on a boat full of seamen? OK, jokes aside, Navy is the second most cushy of 4 main military branches (Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force in that order of toughness). That's from what my military friends say, and I know people from each branch. Honestly the only...

Dyno'd my car tonight... get ready to laugh

Hmm... well, it's a tired N/A through an auto, so it's to be expected. If it was a turbo, THEN I would be laughing.

    ARP head studs

Need a thin wall socket (deep isn't required), I have an old craftsman socket I use for it, but if you buy a cheap socket and grind it down it will work too.

    drag racing clutch opinions

If you're going for big power later and you want a clutch that absolutely will hold the power with lots of abuse.... go multiplate (Spec, OS Giken, Tilton)
